Lockdown and Litter Locker

Hello and a Happy Saturday to you all.  We are under lockdown.  Again.  The Mom thought things were improving so this blindsided her.  Winston and I are taking it in stride, though.  Our food and water dish are full.  We have Boxes!  We have toys!  We get ear scritches.  We don't see any problem.
Thankfully, lockdowns won't stop spring from coming.  Mom was heart-happy to see some beautiful flowers blooming. This purple crocus, for example.
The Mom loves snowdrops.  She thinks these tiny white flowers are brave.  They are one of the first flowers to bloom in spring and sometimes get covered in snow.  Snow doesn't deter these little flowers, though.  They just poke their delicate flowers through the snow and keep growing!
Just before the current lockdown, the Mom picked up a litter locker.  She had seen a review for one online and the price was right so......TAAA DAA.
We have had it all of 4 days but so far Mom is thrilled that she doesn't have to walk down 2 flights of stairs and out into the dark parking lot every night to dispose of our stinky kitty business.  Time will tell peoples.
Mom saw this beautiful bush aglow in pink flowers.  She actually gasped when she saw it!  Then she remembered that the same thing had happened last year.  Isn't it lovely when you remember something beautiful?!
This alert-looking robin was probably looking for some material to build its nest.  Mom said he looked at her rather quizzically and didn't seem overly afraid of her.  Well, the robin would have been afraid of us fierce felines!  But we digress.

This is an older photo of me, Winston, enjoying a basket Mom purchased.  Mom keeps books in it but I think it should have gone to me!  Did I mention that Emily kitty needs to see the vet again for a couple of spectacular matts?  Well, she does.  We will close with this funny that our Mom found on Pinterest.   Be safe.  Be well. Give your felines the cuddles they need!

  2. It's so nice to see you, Winston and Emily. Sorry to hear you're back in lockdown, but glad your mom can still see and enjoy the spring. Hugs to you all.

P.S. - we hope Emily's mats aren't too bad, and the fet can trim them easily.

  3. Happy Easter, happy Spring! It's nice to see a post, and see all your mum's lovely pictures, plus your beautiful selves. ♥

Oh, the lockdown. :-( While it doesn't change what the biped does in her day to day "Groundhog" life, yet ANOTHER lockdown is deflating, depressing, defeating, discouraging, dismal and any other unhappy "d" word you can think of. We sure hope it actually makes a difference, but we won't bet on it.

Anyway, good luck to Emily at the vet, for the matts, and we sure hope the litter locker works out well.

Take care, stay safe and be well. :-)

    1. Thanks for the visit. Emily's visit needed to be rescheduled! We hope those matts don't get any bigger.
Yes, the lockdowns sure are all of those "d" words. When I can a daily walk helps me.
      Take good care.
PS-the litter locker is working out well so far.

  5. ugh that you are under lockdown again. I'm surprised we aren't because Michigan's numbers have been higher than anytime during the pandemic (over 8000 the other day). I think because of the vaccines the Governor isn't locking down. I also think that those people who have to get 2 vaccines think that when they have the first one they are "safe" and they aren't. None of the vaccines are 100% effective anyway and people need to remember that. Enough of my rant. Hoping you had a wonderful Easter!

    1. Hi Caren, Thanks for the visit! We are now under a even stricter lockdown. I'm trying not to watch the news too much as it gives me a stomachache. Thank goodness for the fluffs! Fluffs help. Be well :)

  6. They've got to come up with another name for being shut up at home. Lockdown sounds really harsh, like you can't move your limbs. Anyone have a key?? haha Anyway, good to see you, Winston and Emily. Wish I could come see you and mom. I'd help you forget any restrictions!

    1. Good morning, Thank you for dropping by to say hello! You are right, of course. Lockdown sounds harsh! We will brainstorm new words to put a different light on things.
      Take care and be well.
PS....we can just imagine how you would help us forget about restrictions! :) lol
