Hints of Spring
Hello! I was thankful to have a long weekend over Easter. Of course, I had to use part of the time off to take Emily to the vet. She had developed some impressive mats and the vet can help with a grooming session. It was an interesting trip to the vet since, for the first time ever, I used our new cat carrier. This one had wheels. The walk was interesting for both of us.
This isa photo of the carrier from the website. I tried to take a photo at the vet's office but it turned out blurry.
For the first trip, it held up well and my arms were not nearly as achy. The walk is about 20 minutes one way.
The vet said Emily was good and gave her a fun catnip toy as a reward.
Willow is enjoying the veiw of her feline kingdom from atop the fridge. I recently discovered that, if I stay with her in the bathroom, she will eat her medicine if it is crushed in her treat. Hopefully, this trend continues!
Most of my mini vacation plans were cancelled. Sigh. A family member came down with the flu and our planned for visit was kaput. Thankfully, this family member is now on the mend! Another visit had to be postponed to an unexpected family situation.
However, one of my visits did work out and we had a nice catch up session!Time also allowed a few walks to the park. This time of year is so changebale. It is warm, sunny on one day and then snowy on the next.
Hopefully, these tiny irises managed to tough out the snow!
We will close with a funny found on Pinterest. I anticipate I'll get the chance to visit your blogs within the week! Take care and hug your felines!

I'm glad those nasty mats are gone, that's no fun. That wheely carrier is pretty darn cool!
ReplyDeleteA wheeled carrier, how neat! I can imagine it will come in handy. Mats are never fun, it's always good when they are gone.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad some of your plans worked out and hope you can visit with everyone else soon.
What a terrific idea to have the cat carrier on wheels when you're within walking distance of the vet. I have about a 20 minute drive to get to the vet and let me tell you that I can be quite musical when precious puts her mind to it. Love seeing the little mini irises. I doubt that something that I have in my area I live far enough south from you that our snow ended about a week sooner thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteWow, that carrier is awesome! I'm glad Emily's mats are gone, I'm sure she feels so much better.
ReplyDeleteAhh, you know what they say about humans making plans...the gods laugh!
Have a terrific week!
Absolutely love the carrier, and hope that Emily was a good kitty at the vet's office.
