Hello from Emily. She is not happy that the blog has not been updated in a couple of weeks. However, with a long weekend, there is time to get caught up. Emily and Willow are doing OK. They nap, tussle, eat and repeat. I don't have any vacation time this summer :( So a long weekend is very welcome.
So far, I've cleaned and run several errands. Today I met with a friend and we went out for a bite to eat and saw a matinee!
We had panninis and then went to see Cat Fest 2025! Woo hoo. This was my first big screen cat video fest. It was fun. I didn't realize there were so many cat video fans out there! Has anyone else had the opportunity to watch this? I have only been out to the movies one other time since Covid. (not my photo)
Willow will still cuddle up with me when I read on the sofa. Though in the summer it is not as frequent. I suppose she prefers to cuddle with the air is crisp.
I plan on cooking and reading with my one remaining day off tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteNo vacation is no fun. Nice to hear you at least have a long weekend and you got to go to a movie and have a bite to eat with a good friend. I haven't seen the movie but I've seen that it's very fun to watch. I haven't been to the movies since covid either. Enjoy your day with girls and get the most out of it that you can.

We are glad to see that you had an enjoyable long weekend. Going out to meet a friend is good. So often, we let time slip by and say "Oh, we must meet some time for coffee" and the time passes and slips away, until it's too late, you wake up one day and realise that you missed the chance and now it's gone forever...
