Merry and Bright

Happy New Year!   Winston and I hope everyone had a nice holiday.  Our Mom worked New Year's Eve but got off early.  She was very thankful.  However, I'm getting ahead of myself.  Mom worked last week after Boxing Day.  Work was VERY busy and also short staffed.   Anyway, after her work shift, she was all scrunchy in spirit and maybe a tiny bit twitchy.  (tee hee)  However, all that soon changed.

She met a friend for supper at a Greek restaurant.   The food was delicious.  She tried something called spanakopita and fell in love.  Mom felt the hard day slipping away like a bad dream.
After supper, they went to the theatre and relaxed in their comfy seats

Mom said the Nutcracker was amazing.  She had seen it once almost 20 years ago.  This ballet company gave it a Canadian flair!

Mom went to the park the next day.  There was a tiny bit of snow on the ground.  This lady was playing fetch with her pup.
 Pretty reflections.
Our Mom tried making some New Year's resolutions.  Winston and I thought it was a waste of our time.  We thought more naps, more toys and more cuddles and treats.  Hopefully, Mom helps us live up to these high standards.
Happy purrs to you for a great week!
Winston and Emily

Winston reminded Mom to insert a photo of him.   Can you believe she almost forgot?!  We blame it on the fireworks last night after midnight.  Pfft...They woke up Mom and even scared Winston!
Have a great week.
