Winston and Oscar make an introduction

Peoples and felines,
Winston and Oscar here again today.  We have a "visitor" at our home.  Her name is Emily.
Mom says we must try to behave like gentlemen because everything seems scary and new to her.
We are trying very hard to be good.  Mom says she is proud of us.  Emily  is small and just over a year old.  So far she loves to sleep and explore.  We will try to keep you all posted but taking care of our human and being a gentleman is hard work.  Take good care felines and their peoples.  We hope to keep you posted!

    1. Winston here, Fuzzy Tales.
We suspect the same thing as well. Mum has been so sad lately that we are glad that Emily sometimes makes her laugh. Mum says Emily is a little ginger snap. We are not sure what that means but she sure does get into troubles.

    1. The boys are actually fairly good. I am pleasantly surprised! Emily nosed kissed Winston the other evening and didn't hiss...this time.

  4. Thank you, that is what I am hoping for, too. A play mate for Winston who is really just a big kid and somebody to cuddle up with Oscar for his naps.

  5. She does! She is a talker. She runs towards me meowing things that sound very important. I talk back to her (this makes me crazy, right!) to reassure her that everything is O.K.

    1. Thank you, Maggie M.,
We do try to be good to her. We find it a little bit exhausting. Thank you for thinking of us.

  7. What a sweet girl! I was going to ask if she had found her forever home with you, and sounds like she's found the perfect place. It's wonderful she's bring you joy and laughter.

    1. Hello Eileen,
Technically, we have a month to see if everybody is happy. However, even though things are not perfect, we are hoping things continue as they are .
I am a bit twiterpated with little Emily. She is quite different than my Lucy is some ways but, in other ways, she has some of the same sweet habits.

  8. Oh My! What a beautiful little girl Emily is! And of course we love that name since our Mama's niece is named Emily. Emily, you make those boys fall in love with you...'cause we know your Mama already has sweetie! :)

  9. Welcome Miss Emily!! We hope the two hooligans you've set up house with continue to behave...and that the three of you become fast friends...it sounds like things are moving that way just fine. We are so happy your new Mummy was able to open her heart to a new fur-family member...so soon. xx

    1. Good morning,
Yes, we think that Miss Emily is making friends with us boys--well at least maybe with Winston.
Mum wonders if it too soon, also, sometimes. Her heart still hurts so much from missing Lucy. Miss Emily is making her laugh, though, and we think she can give this new little hooligan a loving home. Mum says its a funny feeling to be laughing at Emily's antics one moment and feeling heart crushed the next because she sees Lucy's chair is empty.
Thanks for your visit! Mum loves reading about your felines. She says they make her smile!
      Signed,
      Oscar and Winston
(we are not giving Emily a say in things quite yet!)

  10. Welcome sweet Emily! What a pretty name, and it's nice that you boys are behaving yourselves. Am thinking that Lucy had a paw in bringing Emily to your home, in strange and mysterious...and LOVING ways!
