Vet update on Lucy

Hello all,
I went to the vet's office after work today so the vet could show me Lucy's x-rays.  She told me what some of the possible scenarios were that could cause the liquid in Lucy's chest.  Please excuse my spelling, I was writing medical terms out phonetically
-twisted lung lobe
-a diaphragmatic hernia
-ruptured thoracic duct
-heart disease
-a tumour
There were or are lymphocytes in the fluid.  They are however, not cancerous, which is good.   Some of the possibilities were possibly cured by surgery.  I'm trying not to think about that one too much as I'm not sure it's something I can swing.
They brought Lucy into the room and I was able to visit with her about 10 minutes.  Other than the fact that Lucy won't eat, she seemed fine.  The vet told me Lucy would make a great ambassador as she is so friendly and likes to greet anyone who comes to her cage.
I am a bit of a basket case and embarassed at how I can start to cry without provocation.
They will do the ultra sound tomorrow but are not sure when the results will be in.   Most likely not until after the weekend.
Your purrs and prayers and thoughts are always appreciated.   I need to pull myself together if I am to be of any use.   Take good care, all!
PS-Lucy is still at the vet's as they are "force feeding" her.
