Please think, pray, purr for Lucy.
It's not good.
Update Saturday, Oct 12th 8pm
Dropped Lucy off at the vet's today before heading to work.
The vet wants her to spend the night (again) and has sent off more
tests.  She is hoping the results will be in early tomorrow morning.
She force fed Lucy some tinned food.  The good news is that Lucy
didn't try to spit it out.
Officially, on vacation now.   Relieved that there won't be (I hope)
nearly as much rushing around.
Thanks, peoples and felines.
Update Sunday, Oct. 13 7:30 pm
I've heard nothing from the vet.   Sent several e-mails and left voice mail--but no response.  Trying very
hard not to worry.

  1. Praying for you both...purring for Winston and Oscar too.
Be strong for her,she needs you more than she ever has before.

    1. Thank you. I actually needed to remind myself to be strong for me.
Still waiting to hear back from the vet.

  2. She's in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Hugs

  3. Sending positive vibes over the ocean to your sweet girl...

  4. Poor Lucy, sending prayers and purrs.

  5. Purrs and purrayers to Lucy and to you as well. We can't control the Fates, but whatever happens, we ask that it be for Lucy's Highest Good, and we ask for Mercy and for universal Light and Blessings for you both.

  6. sending our most heartfelt purrs, prayers and love for sweet Lucy

    1. Appreciate your thoughts--still waiting to hear of the test results. When I brought her in yesterday-Saturday morning-the vet told me she would hopefully get the results early Sunday morning. It's now 2:30 in the afternoon and I haven't heard anything from her.

  7. Oh, sweet Maggie we are so sorry to hear that sweet Lucy is still not doing well. We are keeping her and you in our thoughts and prayers and we so hope the next news will be good news. Warm hugs!

  8. We're purring that everything will be okay with Lucy.

  9. Sending purrs, prayers and all good thoughts that Lucy will be okay. Hugs to you, dear friend.
