Lunch with a Friend and Lucy gets cuddly


Folks, 
We kicked Mom out on Thursday so she could visit with her friend, J.  She took Mom out for lunch.  Mom said it was yummy.  The dessert was heavenly.  One slice of chocolate cheesecake and two forks!!
They took a long walk through a wooded park to enjoy the autumn leaves.

Right after the visit, Mom went to the vet's to feed Lucy.  Lucy meowed and went to see Mom.  Lucy stood on her hind paws and placed her front paws on Mom's shoulder so she could cuddle.  Hoping Sunday she can come home. 
After her feeding, Lucy leaned into Mom's neck and cuddled for about 20 minutes.  It wasn't easy to leave her.
Don't worry, Mom, I'll be right here waiting for you with cuddles, too.
Me, too!  Next time, we are gonna tell you what Mom's friend brought us!!

    So glad the tube feeding session went well,and that you both got cuddles!
    Oscar and Winston got gifts?! The best gift will be Lucy coming home I'm sure!

      The amount of trust Lucy puts in me.....I hope I'm able to help her with feeding etc.

    Glad Lucy will be able to come home and glad the feeding went well. The gorgeous colours on the trees are so pretty. I bet mum is glad you are waiting at home with cuddles. Hugs GJ x

    We are so glad sweet Lucy will get to come home soon!...Our Mommy had to tube feed the kitty before us, Nikki, for a few weeks once and it hurt her to see her baby like that so she understands...Happy weekend, dear friends=we will purr and pray for Lucy's quick recovery...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy Cat, Daddy Cat

    Thank goodness you are at home and waiting to give your Mom cuddles.

    Awww, sweet Lucy was so glad to see you and get cuddles. We too hope that sweet girl gets to come home on Sunday. We know you and Lucy are going to do just fine with the tube feeding.

    That cheesecake looks beyond yummy and the beautiful Autumn leaves of my, what a lovely picture.
