Gerbils, Flirting and Wet Snow!

Hello from Winston.  This is my grumpy good morning face.   This face lets Mom know she really needs to get up ...sooner rather than later!   Mom says I look adorable even when I have a grouchy face!
Emily and I are wishing a happy birthday to Spencer, who turned 18, just a bit ago.  Mom went to her friend's house for a visit.  Spencer was, apparently, very affectionate.....hmpf....
He doesn't look 18 years old, does he?
That cheeky senior gave our Mom head bops.....We will excuse this blatant feline affection only because it is his birthday.
Guess what else what at the friend's house?   Gerbils!   The gray one is Chip and the black one is Scotty.   Emily and I wish that Mom would get us gerbil tv!
Hi!  It's Emily now.  I'm snoopervsing in the dining room.   What would Mom do without me and my helpful guarding and watching....I shudder to think!
We have had a lot of rain...three days of it.  Thankfully, we haven't had flooding.   Today for the first time...we had a beautiful blue sky and wet snow!

Winston and Emily signing off for now and wishing everyone a great week.

  1. Gerbil TV?? Now that's something new! As for the senior.. well.. we say give him a pass on cozying up to your mom on account of his age. Gotta show some respect.

    1. If you can believe it our Mom was a bit frightened of the gerbils. Apparently those rodents like to run a person's sleeve! Thanks for the visit.

  3. Winston, our biped thinks you look absolutely smoochable, grouchy or not. :-)

Happy birthday to Spencer! 18, wow! At that age he can head bop anyone he wants to.

As for gerbil TV...wow, wow, wow! We want gerbil TV too! OMC, what fun!

The blossoms are lovely, ours should be out soon, if we get a few days of sunshine and warmth. It's been crazy-cold and crazy-rainy here, though luckily our basement has remained dry (probably a minor miracle).

    Have a good week!

  4. Hi Winston and Emily, Winston, your grumpy morning face is adorable. I am sure you and Emily would enjoy Gerbil T.V. I had a couple gerbils when I was a young girl. They are fun!
We saw some snow flurries yesterday too.
    Such lovely blossoms.
Hope you all have a good week!

    1. Thank you for liking my grumpy morning face! If Mom were more awake she would laugh at my face, I think.
You have a good week, too!

    1. Our Mom said we could dream of getting gerbils and no more! We actually have a DVD called Cat Television. We may have to make her get it out if she isn't going to get us our own rodents! Mom just joined Instagram! She would like to see your flowers!

  6. We had a gerbil when I was a kid; his name was Peetey. We would let him out of his cage when my father was laying on the floor as he stretched out his back...and Peetey always ended up on Dad's chest! We all thought it was hilarious, but not Dad.

  7. Hi! Just popping by to say hi and to say that we hope all is well with all of you :) The weather is crazy here too...cold and rainy and then the next day, hot enough to be summer! Ack!
Spencer looks very spry fro his age! Gerbils would be very entertaining for all of us here but LP says no more critters!! ;p

  8. Spencer certainly doesn't look his age at all. We think gerbil TV should be mandatory in every cat's home.

We sure hope the sun and warm shows up for you soon. It is purrfect sunny room weather here.
