Purrs to all on this very hot and humid Saturday. Our Mom is having a day...well it's actually been several days. We felines try to take things in stride but, in spite of our cool, Zen-like nonchalance, she hasn't picked up any of our coping habits. Well, then, this is for you Mom.
Tee hee...purrmeow...if you do find her marbles she would very much like them back.
Come on, Mom, get with the program. It's Winston now. Do I let life get to me when things get all wonky and it's just one thing after another...NO! You need to chill, woman!
Maybe a nice chuckle will help. Or a nap. Or some chocolate. It's too hot to cuddle, Mom, bleh! It feels like 106 F with the humidity. Our beautiful furs will just stick to you.
Mumsy, I'm sure there are other people out there who have trying times. We will send you soothing feline thoughts....It's really too bad that the humans can't purr...that is very soothing.
We will close for now. That Mom person needs our attention. Don't forget-in spite of the fact that humans walk upright, have bigger brains and two thumbs, they are actually quite fragile. Head bop your human today!
Yep, our 'rents need to learn from us kittehs how to relax. We hope yours gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Whiskeratti. We hope she stops stressing soon, too. We have noticed a deplorable decline in our service....later with the brushings, the treats. Why there was even a couple of times when she forgot to mention how adorable we are! It really hasn't been easy for us. Purrs to you for a great weekend.
DeleteLots of purrs to your mom person. It's better to be a well-loved and pampered cat. We hope things will get better for her soon -- it seems that life for humans can get crazier as the years pass.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Fuzzy Tales. Yes our pampering has declined. It is really very sad. Thanks for your visit.
DeletePurrs,
the kitty brats
We hopes your mom bean's days get better soon. Poor things, they really need to be more like us kitties.
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
Wise words, kitties! It's been rough around here too.
ReplyDeleteYup, humans can learn so much from us kitties.
ReplyDeleteWe really know how to relax and take it easy.
We;re cool...unless dinner is late ;)
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
That's one reason they have us kitties. We here to remind them how to relax and to give them a purr every once in a while.
ReplyDeleteYour poor Mommy...and poor all of you, having to take away precious nap time to comfort her!
ReplyDeleteHope your Mom feels better soon. I am sure you kitties are doing a great job of keeping her entertained. :)
ReplyDeleteSending (((hugs))) and purrs to your Mom, we sooooooooo understand!
ReplyDeleteTell your Mom the best way to relax is to pet kitties-and give them treats :) It is worth a try.
ReplyDeleteI hope your mummy finds her marbles soon, until then please treat her to many, many purrs and lap cuddles
ReplyDeleteHope mom feels better soon! The humidity doesn't help, but smart kitties certainly do! Purrs to you, mom! from Silver and Riley :-)
ReplyDeleteSending purrs and prayers and relaxing kitty-vibes to your Mom. Stay cool, sweet friends.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Well we hope your Mama isn't laughing for the wrong reason! That would be most unpleasant! ;p Tell her to keep her chin up, things always look better in time :)
