Fresh as a daisy


Good morning.   Oscar here to tell you that I got a spa day last week!   I'm having some trouble bathing and Mom and the vet decided I should have a little help.  They also insinuated that I might be smelling a bit unpleasant-well-how insulting!   Anyway, my favorite part of the entire experience was the warm rinse shower and the wonderful fluffy heat saturated towels to dry me.   Mmmmm...heat for me me.   My claws were also clipped.   I have to admit I felt a bit perkier after the entire experience and Mom kept exclaiming how fresh I smelled.

I felt as fresh as the proverbial daisy.   Purrs.   Mom loves raindrops on flowers and took this photo earlier in the month.  She assures me that I'm much cuter and fresher than any rain drenched flower.

    We're glad you seemed to enjoy it... and yeah, Moms can definitely say rude things sometimes.

      I wasn't too crazy about the first part of my spa bath but the end bits more than made up for it!

    Oscar, the heated towels sound heavenly to all of us here, including the human. We're glad you're feeling better now that you're clean and tidy again.

    RE: the Furminator: I used it again on both boys, only a few minutes on Nicki and only one one side, but longer for Derry, both sides. I just can't believe the amount of fur it gets out. Derry needs at least several more sessions, his fur is so dense. It IS worth the price, if you're able to get it at some point. I used plastic, of course. LOL. It was about $37 plus tax for the short-haired one on Amazon.ca, I don't know how much the long-haired one is (same or more).
