Lilac Time
Lucy kitty here, finally, to give a quick update for our corner of the world. It's been a cool spring. I like to cuddle down with blankies at night. The spring has been so cool that Mom's favorite flower, the lilac, is just now starting to bloom.
Mom was walking to the vet to pick up some of our expensive kibbles when she saw this:
Lilacs are her favorite flower. She can only admire them from afar, though, as we live in an apartment. We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying all the spring blooms!
We have had a cool spring here too, until the past two days. The mom bean says it reached 30-32C yesterday and today!
ReplyDeleteThe lilacs look furry pretty, and mom bean says they smell good too.
Thanks for stopping by our blog, very nice to meet you!

Hi Maggie: We finally have blossoms on the lilac trees in our area. Today was the annual Lilac Festival time. Very pretty time of year.
ReplyDeleteOur lilacs are way behind; no blossoms yet, so now I'm wondering if the tree/bush was damaged somehow. I'll look it over tomorrow. The smell of lilacs is a slice of heaven, imho! And Lucy, you are just the cutest!
ReplyDeleteLilacs are some of Mommy's favorites as well, though they don't grow here in the desert.
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely! We enjoyed peach blossoms for abotu a week, but no lilacs her, sadly.
ReplyDeleteAren't they lovely? Ours are blooming now too, this past week, at long last. The cherry trees were in full bloom a few days ago, won't last long either, but oh, all the blooms are so pretty to look at when out walking. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice fire on Friday night. Mummy Janey says a fire is stooooopid when it is nearly June...but we like a fire anytime!
ReplyDeleteStay snuggly.

My mom finds the scent of Lilacs to be intoxicating! She loves them! Love, Cody
ReplyDeleteWe skipped straight from Winter to Summer here in the South.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilacs! Your kibble may be expensive but you are more than worth it!! Hugs and nose kisses
