She walked to a friends house for a visit. She got distracted by some lilacs on her walk there. Mom says the smell is heavenly!
She met her friend's cat who goes by the name of Simon. Mom says she is twiterpated by this sweet boy.
She also met their little scalawag, Riley. Riley was very interested in Mom's sandals. He had to sniff both feet before Mom went into her friend's backyard.
The backyard was a sanctuary of quiet...leaves were rustling, flowers were blooming, birds were singing. There was a nice little spot for drinking tea and fun nibbles.
I'm glad Mom had a nice visit. I was a bit concerned about that Riley kitty, though. He seemed a bit too interested in Mom's sandals. Mom said not to worry. Riley probably just smelled my kitty spit as I love to gnaw on her sandals. Mom says I'm a weird little dude but she still loves me.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Such a lovely afternoon your mom has had. Those treats look especially delicious. :-)
ReplyDeleteOur instinct would be to be concerned about Riley too, but our human echoes yours on that score. :-)
We love to put kitty spit all OVER sandals too! Sounds like a PAWEsome day!
ReplyDelete"Weird little dude"??? How insulting!
ReplyDeleteWe always have to give Mom the big sniff over when she comes home
ReplyDeleteafter visiting. She often smells of other kitties :/

Glad your Mom had a nice relaxing afternoon! I enjoyed meeting her, and especially Ienjoyed sniffing her sandals and her clothes. I would like to meet you someday, Winston. You sound like my kinda guy!

Sounds like your Mom had a lovely day. You are such a cute kitty cat. :)
ReplyDeleteOur friendly feral Patty O'Malley licks my toes, so I'm thinking that sniffing human feet is a cat thing, and we humans just have to get used to it. Beautiful lilacs!
ReplyDeleteThose lilacs are so pretty. Sounds like your Mom had a lovely afternoon! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by our blog to offer your kind and comforting words when we lost our Whisky and Pok in early May.
