Staycation Joys!

Happy purrs of hello from Winston!  The Mom is on a staycation.  It is a much quieter staycation than usual.  Mom is spending her time reading, cleaning and walking!  I am trying to help Mom relax by snuggling with her!  The flash from her camera made me blink in this photo.  Mom says I am adorable no matter what my expression.
Here is a tiny sparrow Mom saw on one of her walks.   She enjoys taking her walks early in the morning when the light is still fresh and golden.
We HAD to put in this photo of her vacation socks!  She loves those silly things.
Hello from Emily!  That Mom thought a wise of her time during the staycation would be to take me to the vet for my yearly once over and needles.  I gave Mom lots of glares.  I also sang the saddest song during the walk. Hee hee.  Her neighbours probably think she is a horrible owner!  However, guess what?  The vet said I gained a tiny bit of weight.  This thrilled Mom to no end.  I've always been a bit on the delicate side!
Mom also thinks this recent photo of my ear tufts is adorable.  I had forgiven Mom by this time.  I was cuddling up to her on the sofa.
We hope everyone is managing OK.  Sometimes that is the most we can do!   Mom tries to NOT watch the news.  She says that Winston and I make her heart happy.
Mom is not a huge fan of Halloween but she did purchase these earrings last year.  She wants to make sure to wear them soon!
Today, for the first time in ages, she went to a coffee shop and ordered a chai tea latte.  It was her first, and probably only, staycation treat.  She said it tasted delicious.  


 We will close with this photo of our door.  Mom is spiffing it up with encouraging quotes!  Winston and I send you all our best purrs and head nudges.

    I am on staycation this week from Tuesday to Friday!
    They say we cannot roll vacation time from 2020 to 2021, so I'm going to use it.
    We watch a lot of old time TV westerns, just to avoid the news; it's too frustrating.

    How happy We are to see you again, Emily and Winston! Yes, you both look adorable in your selfies.
    Mummy loves your Mom's PumpCat earrings (mol). Mummy used never to go out without earrings - but when she wears a mask, the strings tend to get caught in the earrings, so now She hardly wears them (not that She has gone out much since the pandemic began) and never the dangly ones.
    Take care of yourselves, sweet furriends - and of your Mom, too.
