Happy cat

I took this photo a few years ago in early May. This sweet little kitty seemed to be enjoying all the blooming flowers. You can see a reflection of golden forsythia in the window.
Just a question I want to throw out there if anyone has an answer :)
My Winston kitty is a ragdoll with a lovely thick coat. He tends to get matts in his fur-mostly his lion's mane. The thing is, he is not crazy about being brushed. I have one brush, the zoom groom, which he adores and that will pick up loose fur . However, when I catch a matt forming-teeny tiny-I need a brush with finer teeth and those combs he does not like at all. (He will bite me-gently) Usually, I end up having to take him to the vet :( so they can give him a buzz cut. Any reasonalbe ideas would be welcome. It's starting to get warm again and he already has a matt
my poor little gaffer.

  1. I always use a tiny flea comb to work the hair away from the skin and then I trim with scissors. That's the only way I know how to get those little knots out. I think there is a spray you can add to the comb that acts like a hair detangler and loosens the knots easier. Love the photo. Deb
