Party Felines
Sleepy purrs from Winston. The sunlight is lasting longer these days. I found a nice sunbeam and had a snooze. Mom thinks I look cute when I'm sleeping.
Our Mom recently celebrated her birthday. She booked a day off work and enjoyed some quiet time.
Our Mom has some thoughtful friends. Even though our region is in the red zone her friends helped to make her day feel a bit more "sparkly". One friend did a porch drop off!
Hello people! I was enjoying a sunbeam, too! Well, I tried to. Mom thought it necessary to lie down on the floor and snap a photo of me. I gave her my extra special grumpy feline look. I think I surpassed my previous efforts!
One of Mom's friends even dropped off an afternoon tea for her! This tiny little tidbit was her favourite! There were so many goodies that Mom didn't need to make a work lunch for 2 days!
Mom was hoping to get a photo of a blue jay when she took her walk in the park. However, the bluejay was too fast for her and flew off with the peanut Mom put out before she could focus her camera. She did, however, see this Downey Woodpecker.

ReplyDeleteLucky capture of the woodpecker! The biped can count on one hand all the times in recent years that she's been able to snap pics of woodpeckers.
The clocks go ahead this weekend, so spring is inching ever closer, in spite of the cold temps and (here) receding, crusty snowbanks. The biped still hasn't seen or heard a robin, which seems late. She's seen plenty of geese, though!
