We hope everyone is coping as best they can. Mom tries to go for long walks almost every day. Here is a tiny flower. She thought it looks like a white violet. However, our Mom only admires flowers and doesn't grow them.
Our Mom has also made friends with this tiny little rodent. Mom says this is a chipmunk and she has called him Francis. She gives Francis peanuts and then he pigs out! Emily and I would love to meet Francies.
Purrs from Emily. Thank you again to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday last week! I enjoy being spoiled!
Only...Mom's broken vacuum has been fixed. Oh no! Life was so peaceful without that brutish piece of equipment. You should have seen Mom gleefully vacuuming and smiling. What can we say? She hasn't got out much lately!
We will close with this funny from Pinterest. Please take care!
Hi everyone! We certainly do like your mom's new friend! Derry, too, would like to have a "friend" like Francis! 😁
ReplyDeleteThe human here LOVES that quote from Pinterest! It sums up how she feels exactly!
Take care and keep safe. This pandemic can't go on for forever... It just feels like it!
Hi Kea, Thank you for visiting. We are happy to hear from you!

We've seen a lot of white violets growing all over this year; purple, purple and white, and white. I believe they are native plants, and should be allowed to bloom and grow!
ReplyDeleteHi Eastside Cats, Thank you for dropping by! Thank you for verifying the flower. Mom thinks they are quietly beautiful.
DeletePurrs to you all for a good week.

Nice to see you cuties. Make sure you keep your mom busy. xO
ReplyDeleteHello pilch92, We are happy you came by to visit. We do try to make sure Mom keeps busy. In addition to our usual shenanigans, we love to throw up fur balls on the carpet AND NOT the tile floor. We think it keeps her occupied longer. We are so thoughtful.

That Pinterest quote is perfect. That's how it feels for everyone, I think!

Francis is a cute little chipmunk. We don't have those here, only squirrels.
ReplyDeleteHello, We are glad you stopped by to say hi. Mom never used to see the chippies. She thinks they are becoming bold! We hope you are all doing well.

Your kitties are so pretty. We have so many chipmunks running around our yard here in IL. They are cute, but very destructive little rodents. They dig tunnels all over our yard, including under our new front porch. Did you know they can ruin patios and foundations?! So, I don't dare feed them. The less I attract, the better!
ReplyDeleteHello Melanie, Hello and thank you for stopping by to say hello!
DeleteWinston and Emily send you purrs :) I've always lived in apartments so I didn't realize that those cute little chippies were so destructive to a backyard etc! I feel a bit chagrined!
Awww what a fun friend to have made! My mom loves chipmunks! Love, Cody
ReplyDeleteHi Cody, Thank you for visiting! He is a cute little critter! He is usually very skittish!
