Birthday Girl Celebrations

Greetings!  It is Emily.  I am celebrating my birthday today!
 I was given 5 treats before breakfast!  Woo hoo!  I think a nap is in order.
 Mom found some fresh catnip at a small, locally-owned store yesterday.  (This photo is a few years old and NOT my birthday nip)  She gave Winston and me each a small piece.  A few minutes later we both got the zoomies and then got into a tumble and tussle session with each other.  Mom says we can't handle the nip.  :( 
 Winston here.  Yeah, it is Emily's birthday.  The nip is to be shared, though.   Just so everyone is clear!  Mom says that maybe, when things restrictions and quarantine start to ease, then maybe she will look into a new scratch post for the both of us!

 We hope everyone is doing well.  Mom still struggles with insomnia.  She forgets things and (dare we say it) is sometimes a bit cranky!   Emily and I do our best, though.   We encourage her to take a daily walk when the weather permits.  Mom says the fresh air, singing birds and blooming flowers does make her heart happy.
Emily and I send our best wishes to everyone.  We will close with this small bit of wisdom we found on Pinterest!
