Kitty Yoga

Hello.  This Emily popping by to say hello.  We hope this finds everyone, feline and human, managing well.
Do you see in the dark background a bookcase?  Mom has A LOT of books to keep her busy if she isn't doing work or housework.  She also likes to take very long walks.
Our area had several centimetres of snow earlier this week.  Mom was so excited and went to the park.   She said the world looked clean and had special snow quiet.
Since the quarantine came in effect she said there a more people there walking their woofies.  She then looked at me and Winston and wondered how we might do on a leash!
Mom, you better not try if you value your fingers.  I can be a fierce feline!

Hello now from Winston!   I am doing an extra relaxing kitty yoga pose.   Mom should follow my example, don't you think?  I hope all your felines are getting extra scritches.
I am working furiously to keep Mom calm.  I cuddle her.   I purr by her head.  Sometimes I leave her little "gifts" on the carpet if I think she needs distracting from worries. What can I say but that I'm just a very helpful feline?
Emily and I will close with this quote.
Stay well.

  1. Happy Sunday, all! We're glad to see a post, and to know that you're all well, that your mom's keeping busy. This human already is bored with walking in her neighbourhood and snapping pics of geese. :-P

The one "pro" from this is that overall, sleep has been much better! Probably because I don't have to get out of the house to catch a bus at 6:30 AM. LOL.

Stay safe and healthy. Derry is sending lots of purrs.

  4. I go through bouts of calm, then intense anxiety!
The cats help me to chill, as does The Hubby who says, 'we'll weather this, like we've weathered everything else'.

    1. Hello Eastside Cats,
I can relate to your first sentence. Sometimes I need to talk myself out of a panic. Fur kids can help with purrs.
      Stay well. Sending good thoughts.

    1. Hello!
We are trying to keep her entertained (hacking up fur balls, shredding paper) and cuddled on occasion. Emily and I are exhausted.
We are happy you stopped by. Sending you good thoughts.
