Hello, felines. Did any of you have a spring storm this past weekend? We did! Wind, slush, and freezing rain. Mom worked on Saturday but got to leave 2 1/2 hours early because of the weather.
This photo is of me cuddling with her.
The poor snowdrops could not withstand the icy onslaught!
Mom saw some damage due to the storm. This was on her walk to the dentist (again!)
Purrs from Winston. I say this is the kind of weather where everyone should just take a nap. Mom mumbled something about "must be nice!"
She can be such a grumpy pants sometimes.
Here is a tiny red squirrel from less stormy days! Mom has been wearing her cheap drugstore version of "yak treks" to try and stay upright.
I will close for now with a Pinterest quote. We think our mom might do well to take this to heart. However, we also try to dispense feline cuddles to help.

DeleteWe're not so optimistic that spring is "sure" to come. There was a cute graphic making the rounds of social media yesterday, maybe you guys saw it, said "Most people think it's April, but it's really the 96th day of January." Well, today is the 97th day of January here in Eastern Ontario. :-/

WE had snow last weekend. It has been colder and rainy,rainy, rainy!
