Bday celebrations continue

Good morning.  Emily here today to tell you about our week.   The felines have been keeping busy with lots of naps.  The Mom person relaxes when we let her
More tea....always with the tea for her.
This is a blurry photo because I don't like to sit still!   Guess what!?  Both Oscar and I went to the vet last week.  We both gained some weight which pleased the Mom person!
So this is what the Mom says we should be seeing--a bit more budding and blooming.  However, what we see is this
a light dusting of snow which is followed by freezing rain!

Winston here now!   Emily can be such a chatterbox!  Why yes!  I am on the stove.   Because nobody can boss me around that is why   (actually the Mom person yells at me to get off...something about not being safe)  I think I look a teeny bit handsome here!
Oscar's birthday celebrations started off with a spa visit to the vet.  He got a nice cleaning, fluffing and brushing.   The vet said he was like a grumpy old man yelling at the other cat's in the back to be quiet.   Mom thought  that this was good because it showed he had spunk...
However,  there has still been no catnip treats for Oscar.  I'm posting this photo to gently remind Mom to get her act in gear.   See how Oscar likes the nip, Mom?

The felines signing off for now.   Purrs for a great week and lots of kitty cuddles!

  1. Yay, Oscar put on some weight! That's good! Don't know if it's good for you Emily, but you are so floofy...how can anyone tell? We had snow and ice and rain yesterday too...now it's all gone...whew!

    1. Yes. Mom was surprised but pleased Oscar had put on some weight. He is getting the senior skinnies.
Miss Emily has not been acting sick but has been losing weight. The vet suggested we try another food. She seems to like it a lot. Also, the Mom person started giving Emily her own little feeding stations (well-until little Mr piggy Winston found it!) We are glad to hear your nasty weather has gone.

  3. That's great, that you've both put on weight! Do you want some of ours? :-)

At Oscar's age, we think he should get whatever he wants...including all the nip his heart desires!

    Purrs and peace.

  6. Good that those of you who need to, have gained weight. Our Human says that She is purr-fectly willing to donate some of Hers, if you like (mol).
    You all look beautiful.
We are sorry you are still having cold, wintery weather but We are sure that Mr. Sunshine is just around the corner.

Pee Ess: Mummy was wondering about the title of your blog and whether it has anything to do with being fed by ravens.
