Overworked and underappreciated felines

Hello all.   It's Oscar.  I've started late today because the Mom has very inconveniently become ill with the latest bug that is going around this area.   Oh, I still get fed and the like but I am afraid the quality of her service is lacking--it's lacking enthusiasm and cheer.   She sneezes and coughs and lies about most of the day.   She is even a bit grumpy.   The Mom says it's no way to start her long awaited vacation.
I sent her a message, with feline telepathy, to get a nice cup of tea.   Humans are so easy to manipulate as she didn't need much prodding from me.
Mom's DVD player is acting up so she started watching Doctor Who on her iPhone.   That was a bit awkward to hold while reclining on the sofa so she used the snoozing Winston as a feline stand.   *I tell you we deserve more treats for the way the Mom takes advantage of us!*

She still tries to get out for walks but they tire her out.   The Mom is determined not to let this bug get her down....though to be honest she has been adjusting a lot of her plans.

Emily is cocooning...she has even taken over my kitty butt warmer.  This is not a photo of my feline bum warmer but you get the general idea.
We will get the Mom to  come around and visit you when she starts being more herself again.   Stay well and hug your felines!

  1. Good job guys, that you told Mum to get some tea....but just a hint...have you heard the phrase "tea and sympathy"? Perhaps a little would go a long way toward Mum getting better.

    1. We had to look up that phrase....and we concluded that tea was enough!
OK....Emily will give her an extra head bop. But that will be it!
      Purrs for the visit.

    1. The Winston kitty was fine with helping until one of the characters whistled. Then Winston ran off and the iPhone fell over. It was poetic justice.
