Oscar has been at the vet's for a couple of days now and the vet wants him to remain over the weekend. His symptoms are a bit of a mystery. His blood work came out fine as did his x-rays. The vet is speculating that he may have injured himself (perhaps while falling-his back leg gives out because of the arthritis) or he may be reacting to one of his meds. Thanks for your thoughts for my orange boy.
Continued purrs and purrayers to Oscar. We're glad his blood work and x-rays came back clear and hope he'll be home soon -- he'll feel better in his own surroundings, we're sure, and we're also sure your human will feel better when he's home too. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWe continue to purrrayer for Oscar. Hopefully this will pass quickly.
ReplyDeleteWe are very sorry that Oscar is not well and has to stay at the Vet.
ReplyDeleteWe purr very hard they can figure what is wrong and fix it, or that he

We are continuing to purr and pray for Oscar, and you. We hope he can come home real soon.
ReplyDeletePoor Oscar. I am praying and the kitties are purring. Does he go outside? If so, has he been checked for lyme disease? Our Spooky was outside before we adopted him and he did have lyme. A lot of vets seem to think it only effects dogs, but that is not true.
ReplyDeletestill continuing to send purrs and prayers. I am glad that since the vet is unsure as to what is going on, that they didn't send him home because his numbers were good. Better to be safe and under observation. (((hugs))))
ReplyDeleteSending loads of purrs, gentle headbutts, and prayers from us all to Oscar. Hope he gets to come home on Monday. And he's old self in no time. Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
