Guess what special feline had a birthday!?


 Hello felines and their peoples,  It's me, Oscar!  Guess what Mom forgot to mention last month?  My birthday!  I turned 17 in April!   Just so you know, though,  I'm still waiting for my birthday present.  I'm hoping for extra cuddles AND either a new water fountain OR a fancy cushioned stepping stool so I can get to high places.  I need to make sure Mom doesn't forget.  The nerve of her!
 I blame some of her thoughtlessness on spring.  The weather has turned quite warm and the trees and flowers are all starting to bud.  Mom calls the trees starting to bud "misting" because of the soft, delicate green on all the branches.
 Mom went for an early morning walk to the park yesterday.   She said it was lovely with the soft air and the gentle morning sun...but my favorite part of the story was this....

This squirrel was there!  He kept begging Mom for some treats!  Get in line you little rodent with a bushy tail!   Mom still needs to get my a birthday present before she starts handing out goodies to cheeky park land beasts!

      Thank you Fuzzy Tales! I think Emily and Winston would like a squirrel for a bday present. Then Mom would get all squeaky shouting "leave it alone!" You all have a great day!

      Awwww...thanks for visiting. I will tell you a secret...I'm not a big fan of treats! It's very inconvenient for Mommy as the others will usually come running when they hear the treat bag! I love snuggles, though....would you give me snuggles 365 days a year too?

      I will try to be patient with Mom regarding the presents. She is giving me extra cuddles AND picking me up and carrying me whenever I meow that I need help. Still a little nudge in the prezzies department is still require.
