Windy, Rainy Days--Oscar update

The vet's office got back to us with Oscar's test results...he has another urinary tract infection.  This was a surprise as we thought we were testing his thyroid again.  Poor Oscar has to make a weekly trek back to the vet's office for the next couple of weeks for an antibiotic.  We are also wanting the vet to take another look at his arthritic back leg...it's really causing him trouble.  

Mom thought maybe the cold, raw, rainy weather might be making things worse for him.  She is putting her own muscle heat pads on his back leg.  He doesn't hate the new heated bed but he isn't exactly loving it, either.   Emily, on the other hand, is really loving the new heated bed.  Mom is glad it wasn't a total waste of her money.  We hope everyone stays warm and dry.
Mom says thanks for the advice on how to groom my furs....she is gonna need it!

    Oh Oscar! Poor baby. We figured out that Chuck's UTI was caused by stress: I had lost my job...then got another one, but the household was in turmoil for a little while. My wish is for Oscar to feel better, and that Emily will share her new hot beddy with her big brother!

    One good thing about a multi-cat household we find, is there is usually somebody who likes an "investment" but not usually the one the pricey item was bought for! Ack!
