Tornado Watch

Good morning folks and felines,
A quick hello from the Winston kitty.  Mum is busy this week but I forced her to write this quickly.
Yesterday, we had a tornado watch in our area.  Thankfully, we just had very, very strong winds.  Mom said she saw a big old tree branch fall to the ground on her walk home.  We also had lots of rain.  I am taking cover in my box.   My box is the best.  Hope you all have a great week with NO tornado watches/ warnings!

  1. We had a severe thunderstorm warning, with possible hail, tornadoes, etc., in our area too. Distant thunder only, but HEAVY rain and high winds. Nothing like Angus, ON, though, where we here a tornado did touch down, leaving a few dozen homes heavily damaged.

We're glad your mom only saw a branch come down, wasn't injured on her walk home! We were all tucked up safe and sound in the house when the storm hit our area.

  2. Mommy doesn't like tornadoes. She always says she spend most of her growing up in the basement fruit cellar (in Missouri)! Not really true, but she says it felt like it sometimes. Tornadoes can be really nasty, and she has lots of stories about them, but would rather not tell them!
We are happy you all are safe!

  4. Winston, maybe you can find a little spot in your box for your Mama?! Tornados are scary and she might need to lie low with you one of these days! :p Seriously though, we are glad you are o.k. and the tornado left you alone!

  7. We went without electricity for five hours after that storm, but the kitties just napped through it! Must have been the power of the box!
