Staycation Time

Willow says hello! I was recently on vacation and enjoyed the slower pace. I also like to tell myself that Emily and Willow enjoyed having me around. Once last week, in the middle of the night, Willow woke me up by biting my toe. The little dweebmeister has sharp teeths. I don't think she felt any remorse!
This is Emily exploring the vet's office. Both Emily and Willow went to the vet for a mini "spa" day. I used the new wheeled cat carrier for both visits. My arms were thankfull that I didn't have to lug them around for the 20 minute walk. In addition to the vet vists, I went for walks in the park, read, had a few visits with family. The feeling of having "free" days is a real luxury. Here are a few photos from my walks in the park
My walks generally start at 7:15 am. I don't mind the early time. A cardinal sitting high up in a tree and singing his heart out
There was a beautiful tree with pink blooms near the entrance.
so may flowers! I head back to work tomorrow. I'm still trying to fit in some reading before then. Wishing everyone a lovely week. Give your felines a hug. This funny from Pinterst made me smile!

  2. A week of vacation can be so restful.

It seems you have a toe-biter instead of an ankle-biter.

A dragon might not solve all of your problems but it would certainly cut most of them down to size.

  3. Beautiful photos from your walk around. Always love seeing flowers in bloom. And always love seeing your girls. It's good to hear you had some quality time for yourself.

  4. Hello to you all! Ouch to the toe-biting, but it gave me a chuckle. When Derry was young and first adopted, he used to stick a claw up my nostril to wake me up. 🙄😆

Your staycation looked lovely! Isn't Spring amazing? The lush green and all the blooms are a true Joy.

Good luck easing back into the week (mentally). I find it a struggle after just the weekend! 🙃💕

  5. Staycations are wonderful!
Hope your toe is okay; Henry bit my thumb and it's taken many days for it to feel less ouchie.

  7. Ouchie on the toes! Trixie used to be a toe-biter when She first came here but she got over it, eventually.
We aren't sure that a dragon would solve ALL Our problems - but it would certainly be a useful companion to have around (mol).
