After speaking with the vet, she has decided to put Willow on deworming meds. If Willow's symptoms improve then all is good. If her symptoms persist, then I need to contact the vet's office again.
I'm surprised. Willow had a clean bill of health when I adopted her. I also had my own vet check her out. My cats never go outside.
Any gentle advice is welcome.
Again, not sure if this is the case but it is how the vet decided to proceed.
Thank you people.
Hi willow! we hope you are feeling better and all is well. we seldom
ReplyDeleteget to visit anyone any more, though we did see this post on the blogsphere page. purrhaps a fly got inside your house, and you gave
him a good “chewing” !!!! and that’s the reason your vet gave you the de wormer? they can cause all sorts of trouble, those flies, and not just to
us cats. here’s to a great day πΊπ
I will be praying that it is just worms. XO
ReplyDeleteI hope Willow's symptoms do improve, but I haven't seen a post about just what is going on. Does she have diarrhea? Did they test a stool sample? If it's diarrhea and the stool sample is fine, first thoughts are food allergy/intolerance or IBD/IBS (or other gastric issue). Has she had bloodwork done recently?
ReplyDeleteWhatever the issue, I hope it's easily resolved. I'm keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.
Hoping that the meds make Willow feel better!
ReplyDeletePurrs to sweet Willow from all of us. That worm meds could help, sometimes they do the trick and we hope that's the case here too.
ReplyDeleteSending purrayers and Power of the Paw that Willow is better soon !
ReplyDeleteWe are purring and praying that these meds do the trick, and that Willow is feeling better real soon. XO
ReplyDeleteI hope Willow is better already by the time you and she read this.
ReplyDeleteNo advice but vets have probably seen it all and hopefully he has nailed it the first time!
ReplyDeleteAlas, We have no advice We can give - but, hopefully, the vet is on the right track and the meds will do the trick. Purring for Willow.
