Talk to the paw

Oscar kitty here to report a feline felony against poor me. MOM stepped on my paw! She said she didn't mean to do it but she did-with her snowy, sopping wet boot no less. I screeched a pitiable meow and have stayed (mostly) hidden since the dastardly deed.
Mom says she is sorry and she feels bad and she tries to make amends but I feel betrayed by the clumsy oaf. How long should I make her suffer this remorse before giving in.
Signed,
the Oscar kitty

  1. Poor Oscar, I think she needs to suffer for at least two days and you need lots of treats.

  2. A couple of days...when you see bigfoot coming, run away with a backwards glance...look a bit afraid (if you can do it without laughing).Oh yeh, standing with that paw held up in the air will completely finish her off.

  3. We think she has suffered enough. We bet she would love to give your sweet tasting pink paws kisses all over to make them feel better.

    1. Compassion, eh?
Well, I'll have to think about that one!
      Thanks, Laila and Minchie!

  4. Don't torment her for too long Oscar! Our clumsy oaf over here has pinned us underfoot too! If you come out form hiding there are bound to be kisses and treats and you could milk it for days ....

  5. Oscar, first of all, you have one of the cutest paws EVER!!!! Second, I would maybe cut Mom some slack. My "jumbo-sized" Mom has done the same to me, (she says I spend too much time circling by her feet where she can't see me)......imagine MY Mom's girth stepping on MY paw! You are MUCH smaller! I know it hurts, but she loves you and didn't mean to do it.......I would just forgive her, but I WOULD demand more treats first! Love, Cody

  6. Ouch! You're okay, though, right? Nothing broken? We promise we won't tell your mom you're okay (hope you are!), while you milk it for all you can.
