Lucy kitty here with a quick report.
I had to see the vet again this morning.
I gained almost 1/4 of a pound.
The vet told mum to stop giving me 6 syringes of food every day and just give me 2 syringes of food. (What!) If I eat enough on my own, and can maintain my weight, the vet told mum the feeding tube could maybe come out.
Mum says she is tiredly, cautiously pleased. To celebrate, she bought a marshmallow Santa covered in chocolate. She also wants to take a nap.
While she naps, perhaps I should not go up on the counter again. tee hee.
