Cats are kindly masters, just so long as you remember your place. ~ Paul Gray

Peoples and kitties-
I have been insulted. I just needed to share my outrage with someone who would understand.
Yesterday, Mom was doing laundry. She was carrying her laundry basket to the apartment's laundry room and I managed some fine evasive manouvers and escaped into the forbiddenhallway.
Alas, Mom was after me in a shot. I raced down the hallway with her in hot pursuit. I, of course, was much faster!! (woo hoo). Suddenly, one the neighbours decided to leave their apartment. I stopped short and Mom took this opportunity to swoop me in her arms and scold me. That nasty neighbour walked by. The nerve of that person. I poufed myself up ever more than usual and growled.
When we got back to my apartment mom just laughed and laughed. She thought me growling at the neighbour was hilarious.
Don't worry, though, folks. It's shedding season and I can see some opportunity for revenge.
Have a nice day and don't laugh at your ferocious felines!!

  1. Believe me, when I laugh at my cats, I try to do so very discreetly.

The boys are impressed at your escape. A few more practice runs and you won't even be held up by a neighbour appearing unexpectedly.

    1. Yes, you think Mom would learn.
      But NOT-
she thinks when I puff up and give menacing growls I am cute.

  2. How rude of your Mom to laugh! We think some well placed hacked up balls of fur would serve as a nice revenge!

    1. Very well thought out plan of revenge.
I think I may wait, though, till she buys a new pair of shoes.
Yes. Yes, indeed, shoes. Expensive ones would be best.

  11. It sounds like you had a good run in the hallway (sorry it was so short)! That neighbor surely DID deserve to be growled at. WE would have done the same thing!
