Snow Day!
Friday was a snow day! I felt like I was an elementary school kid again =)
Instead of staying inside, sensibly warm, and with a kitty by my side.
I ventured outside into a winter wonderland of cold, snow and wind!
The snow was deep--about mid calf. My boots only cover just past my ankle =)
I wore my sunglasses to protect my eyes from the snow-it was a bit fierce.
I love taking photos but my fingers were starting to go numb with the cold. I found a tiny little cafe to duck into for a moment.
The lady was very kind and allowed me to drip snow water on the floor while I thawed out. I purchased a very yummy muffin and then headed back out into the "wild" winter weather.
I could tell the kitty brats were thrilled to see me back home-safe and sound. I felt I deserved a nap after all that!

My cats told me about you going outside when you could have been cozy and warm with your crew. They said they think you are a bit cuckoo!

You're much braver than I... and we were 55° with no snow! Me? I stayed inside! :)

We had lots of snow over the weekend, too. You are a lot braver than us ... we stayed inside! :)
