Hello
Hello. It is Willow. Mom is having trouble with her internet so we haven't had a chance to post. Mom is really bummed out. Right now it seems to be working. So I'm nudging her to type fast. I went to the vet on Friday to get weighed. My weight has stayed steady after I lost a pound a few months ago. Mom was worried and brought me in for regular weighings. Hello now from Emily. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm fine. Well, I have a matt that needs taking care of but otherwise I'm OK. Mom is slowly getting back to her usual self after getting a virus several months ago. We just need to make sure she is taking proper care of us. Summer is here. The flowers are blooming. It has been very hot and sometimes humid. We will close for now while the internet is still cooperating with us. We wish our Canadian readers a Happy Canada Day. It is coming up soon. Willow and I hate the fireworks-so loud and scary. Purrs for a great week.

A Busy Staycation
I recently had a staycation. It was much busier than I was expecting. A close relative got married out of town, and I was able to attend.
The venue was in a beautiful location. The reception area had a waterfall in the back of the room. I was fortunate enough to get to sit close by it.
I also got to see one of my favorite woofies, Hazel. Hazel had an important role in the ceremony. She was one of the ring bearers!
The motel I stayed in had beautiful garden in the back. These forget-me-nots-were just one of many flowers blooming in the garden.
It was nice to be able to attend and visit a bit with family. However, it was also wonderful to go home. This is one of the roads on our way home.
When I got home, I called out to Emily and Willow. Those little stinkers did NOT come rushing to greet me. (a friend had come over to make sure they were loved, and fed and watered) It was very humbling . lol
I had the uncomfortable feeling that I was being reprimanded for leaving them alone!
I will close with one of my favourite cartoons. I'm hoping to get caught up again with visiting once I have got my breath. (and made amends to my poor neglected felines!)
