A Busy Staycation

I recently had a staycation. It was much busier than I was expecting. A close relative got married out of town, and I was able to attend.
The venue was in a beautiful location. The reception area had a waterfall in the back of the room. I was fortunate enough to get to sit close by it.
I also got to see one of my favorite woofies, Hazel. Hazel had an important role in the ceremony. She was one of the ring bearers!
The motel I stayed in had beautiful garden in the back. These forget-me-nots-were just one of many flowers blooming in the garden.
It was nice to be able to attend and visit a bit with family. However, it was also wonderful to go home. This is one of the roads on our way home. When I got home, I called out to Emily and Willow. Those little stinkers did NOT come rushing to greet me. (a friend had come over to make sure they were loved, and fed and watered) It was very humbling . lol
I had the uncomfortable feeling that I was being reprimanded for leaving them alone! I will close with one of my favourite cartoons. I'm hoping to get caught up again with visiting once I have got my breath. (and made amends to my poor neglected felines!)
