Serenade

It's Winston here today.  I feel I need to justify myself after I heard Mom chatting with a friend.  She dared to insinuate that I wake her up too early in the morning by yowling. Well, I have never been so insulted!  I do not yowl.  I merely try to ease her into the day with a touching rendition of the song of my people.  Our language is a bit different from people language.  We use tone and timbre to portray emotion and vulnerability.  It is a very fine art.  *kitty sigh*    For example, I will roughly translate one verse of my early morning serenade.   Ahem.

Woe is me.

Lilacs and Advice

Good morning felines and their peoples,  I have a very full schedule of napping today so today's post will be short and sweet!   Mom had a busy weekend and is behind on a bunch of things.  We make sure she doesn't neglect the important stuff like feeding us, brushing us,  giving us nip toys, cleaning our litter etc.... It's a good thing we are here to make sure she stays focused!   But, just to show we are kindly taskmasters, I enclose this photos of one of her favorite flowers.  We allowed her take a walk in the park and she came back all starry-eyed about a beautiful lilac bush.
