Talk to the paw

Oscar kitty here to report a feline felony against poor me. MOM stepped on my paw! She said she didn't mean to do it but she did-with her snowy, sopping wet boot no less. I screeched a pitiable meow and have stayed (mostly) hidden since the dastardly deed.
Mom says she is sorry and she feels bad and she tries to make amends but I feel betrayed by the clumsy oaf. How long should I make her suffer this remorse before giving in.
Signed,
the Oscar kitty

Thankfully, I have lots of feline assistance when it comes to the kitty blog. What on earth would I do without all of their valuable insights and prodding.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Saturday

Good morning felines and peoples,  Lucy here on this lovely Saturday.  Mom doesn't have to work today.  Have no fear, though, as I will make sure won't be bored ...there is still lots of things to be done if we kitty brats are to maintain our exacting standards of comfort.  First, though, a recap.
Mom met a friend for supper after work on Thursday.  It was another snowy evening.  They drove to a restaurant in S's car.  The roads were so hemmed in by snowbanks etc that, even though it was two lanes, there was only room for one car to get through at a time.
They went to a cozy little restaurant and they each ordered soup.  They tried chicken pot pie soup and said it was the perfect supper for a raw, snowy winter night.

Fancy Feline Feats

Good morning felines and peoples, this is Lucy kitty in a flirty mood today.  I am demonstrating some of my better moves so as to instill in your person the desire to pay attention to you.  If you don't want them to study OR leave you to go on visits and so forth.  In this photo, I am displaying the classic move of "hiding the home work" but look with what skill I elegantly drape myself over the homework assignment.  Who could resist me like this-especially with the gentle paw over the offending item!

Pish posh, Lucy, if you want to get your human's attention I suggest a mad dash out into the hallway!  When else do you see them scramble madly after you.  It's super fun!  In this photo I am assuming the defiant stance.  Notice the swish of my tail that says "ha! I don't have to listen to you."

Hmmm!  Is this the apartment where the big, brown dog lives.  I have NO fears, peoples.  Drives Mom round the bend.  Great way to get her undivided attention!
Lucy and Winston those are all great moves.  I personally like to utilize the big eyes, sweet winsome face maneuver.    She can't see the homework even if it's right in front of her when I pull this fancy feat !  Alas, none of our endeavors worked a few days ago when she and a couple of her friends went to celebrate K's birthday.  *sigh*
They sallied forth into the bleak, mid winter of snow, cold and overcast skies until they came to their destination where this awaited them....
They were seated next to a mural of a beautiful garden of gentle breezes, swaying flowers and a bird!  Did any of you felines notice that bird!
They had the buffet.  Well, Mom had a bowl of soup because of her recent dental visit but the birthday girl went to the buffet and for dessert she thought 2 pieces of pie were in order!  Our Mom thought K's birthday pies looked amazing!  Woo hoo.
